Dr. Manga Datta has a special interest in skin allergy and is one of handful of doctors in Ontario that offers Patch testing to diagnose allergic contact dermatitis that can be caused by chemicals found in the products we use on a daily basis such as cosmetics, shampoo, soaps, hair dyes to name a few.
After the test is complete, not only do you get the list of your allergens but also a list of alternative products to prevent this allergic eczema in the future.
Patch testing is offered in Ontario and is covered by OHIP.
